Theatre a go?
Theatre Royal Margate is opening its doors to
young people who want to try Senior Youth Theatre for the first
time.
The first session of the new term is on
Tuesday 27th April from 6.00-7.00.
11-16 year olds can come and join in the first
session as a taster with no commitment required by meeting at the
Stage Door.
The full terms payment of £45 (£4.50 a
session) will be due at the 2nd session if they decide to
return.
Theatre Royal Margate's Senior Youth Theatre
produces one professionally supported show every year and sessions
are run by Will Wollen the theatre¹s artistic director.
If you want to learn theatre skills and
techniques, improve their confidence and have fun then

The following activities may be interesting to everyone,
regardless of their skill or experience:
- Junior Youth Theatre (7-11yr olds)
Saturday mornings (during term-time), learn basic drama skills
through games and activities. Each term will culminate in a small
showing to an invited audience. No audition necessary, a fee
of £45 per person applies.
- Senior Youth Theatre (11-16yr olds)
Tuesday evenings (during term-time), enjoy drama activities and
games led by a professional theatre practitioner. Take part in an
annual professionally supported production for a public
audience. No audition necessary, a fee of £45 per person
applies.

From front of house to back stage, the Theatre Royal Margate
also offer a limited number of work placements and volunteering
