Worx project

Are you not in education, employment or training but want to do something a little bit different? Like dance or sport?  Then why not give the Sport 4 NRG  "THE WORX PROJECT" a go?

Sport 4 NRG are offering FREE sports related qualifications to Thanet's young people.

The two courses on offer are:

Level 1 Award in Dance Leadership (have to be 14 years old or over)

Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership  (have to be 16 years old or over)

The next course will be during February Half Term with 15 places on each course are available.

Once you have completed the 30 hours of (really) informal, laid back learning, you do 10 hours of volunteering in a community setting (at the leisure centres, swimming pools, after school clubs, at Sport 4 NRG)..

Once these hours are completed, Sport 4 NRG will then find you further training to boost your CV, a college place or proper sports related employment!!

Sport 4 NRG received funding for these courses from the Thanet Works fund run by Thanet District Council.
