Pie Factory Music has been bringing music to the young people of Thanet since 2001 offering workshops on DJ'ing, vocals and MC'ing as well as brass, wind and guitar sessions. With their own recording studio and CD production - they really are a professional set up.
The whole idea behind Pie Factory Music is to create a better quality of life for young people in Thanet and their free sessions are often the missing link into music for many.

Urban music workshops – ‘The ZONE’
Every Tuesday 7.30-9.30pm, ages 11-18yrs
MC, TECH, DJ, Breakdance and live jamming workshops
Recording studio
Wednesday evenings – studio sessions available to book at the ZONE, ages 11-18yrs
Loud: Rock School
On the second and last Saturday every month at the Concorde youth centre, Ramsgate at 10am-4pm with guitar, bass, drums, vocals and song. Suitable for 11-18 year olds. Also includes guitar lessons for 7-11 year olds with group tuition.
Vocal expressions
Singing workshops covering a range of styles & genres.
- Tuesdays 5.30-7pm - Seniors (11-18yrs)
- Saturdays 10.30-11.45am – Juniors (7-10yrs)
- Saturdays 12-1pm – Mini’s (4-6yrs)
-Mondays 1.15-2.15pm – Vocal babies (3yrs-18 months)
