Cancer Protection for Girls
Teenage girls can now choose to be vaccinated to protect them
from cervical cancer. Called Cervarix, the treatment will be given
through three injections over six months and
although the vaccination is optional, research has shown that at
least 7 out of 10 cancers of the cervix could be prevented through
its use.
